Roger Vanderhye has been an educator for 30 years in public, private and international schools. Living and educating students and staff on five continents has given him a depth and breadth of knowledge in multiple educational arenas. Currently a principal in a highly successful Fairfax County Public School, Mr. Vanderhye has distinguished himself as a leader in school scheduling, professional learning communities, successful schools research, curriculum design and formative assessments in his 20 plus years as a building administrator. Roger specializes in combining humor, real life scenarios and hands-on, take-it-home-with-you ideas and activities, that appeal to innovative professionals who wish to stay current with what “really works” in schools.
